False claims are tracked in two different ways. Per user and per stamp.
User
There are three actions on the following amounts of false claims, regardless for on which stamp:
- First lockout: At 3 incorrect claims -> User is locked out of claims for 1 hour.
- Second lockout: At 5 incorrect claims -> User is automatically logged out and is locked out of claims for 8 hours.
- Third lockout: At 8 incorrect claims -> User is automatically logged out and is indefinitely locked out of claims (until a support employee unlocks him)
If a user claims a stamp correctly, this count goes back to 0.
Stamp
For each stamp, we also keep track of incorrect claims.
A stamp is locked out of claims after 10 false claims.
Only counts if the user entered/scanned a correct publicId
This is indefinitely until a support agent unlocks it.
